Hi, I'm Alison. I study adaptive XR systems within Human Computer Interaction, with a focus on embodied and multimodal interaction and AI. My work explores how immersive environments and tangible interfaces can sense and respond to human rhythm, action, and context, shaping cognition, communication, and emotional experience.
I am currently a game student @ Columbia University, working with serious games and XR systems, a product designer @ Curiously, where I work on AI supported learning and educational chat systems, and a research assistant @ HKUST(GZ)'s ARK Lab, where I develop embodied math learning tools for autistic children and playful XR learning experiences.
I enjoy building hands on prototypes as a way of exploring playful and embodied interaction, often using learning contexts to study cognitive and emotional development.
